The National Day of Ecuador is on the 10 August (Proclamation of independence from Spain 1809). The “La Década de la Independencia” (The Decade of Independence) and commemorates Ecuador’s independence from Spain, which occurred on August 10th, 1809. So the 27th September is their national day. Uruguay – August 25th: Independence Day, celebrating Uruguay’s declaration of independence from Brazil in 1825.
Venezuela – July 5th: Independence Day, celebrating Venezuela’s declaration of independence from Spain in 1811.

The National Day of Costa Rica is on the 15 September (Independence from Spain 1821). It is also known as Independence Day or Día de la Independencia in Spanish.
