The National Day of Georgia is on the 26th May (Day of First Republic, declaration of independence from Russia in 1918). This day is a public holiday in Georgia to celebrate their independence from the Soviet Union on the 26th May 1991.
National Day of Gambia
The National Day of Gambia is on the 18th February (Independence Day, from the United Kingdom 1965). As you will notice that this day celenrates Gambia’s independence from British colonial rule which ended on the 18th February 1965.

This celebrates the storming of the Bastille prison on the 14th July 1789. This was a turning point in French history in that the French Revolution was the start of the modern French nation.

The National Day of Finland is on the 6th December (Independence Day, declaration of independence from Russia 1917). The day is a public holiday in Finland. This is usually celebrated with parades, flag-raising ceremonies, concerts, and other cultural events.
National Day of Fiji
The National Day of Fiji is on the 10 October (Fiji Day, independence from United Kingdom 1970). Likewise the National Day of Fiji is celebrated annually on the 10th October. National Day of Ethiopia
The National Day of Ethiopia is on the 28th May (Downfall of the Derg Day, the Derg regime is defeated 1991). It is known as “Derg Downfall Day” or “Fall of the Derg” . This celebrates the day when the Marxist regime, known as the Derg, was overthrown in 1991 after 17 years in power.

The National Day of Eritrea is on the 24 May (Eritrean rebels enter the capital Asmara 1991; independence from Ethiopia 1993). It celebrates Eritrea’s independence from Ethiopia, which was achieved on the 24th May 1991. This after a 30-year-long struggle for independence.

The National Day of England is on the 23rd April (St George’s Day, patron saint of England, not a bank holiday). The national day of England is called St. George’s Day. This is celebrated each year on the 23rd of April. St. George is the patron saint of England. This has been celebrated since the early 15th century.

The National Day of El Salvador is on the 15 September (Independence from Spain 1821). Many countries in South America gained their independence from Spain and are linked by this. El Salvador much like others in the region declared on the 15th September 1821 their independence from Spain. This along with several other Central American countries.
