The National Day of Chad is on the 11 August which was its Independence from France in 1960. It commemorates the country’s independence from France on August 11th, 1960. As you know that Chad is located in central Africa, was a French colony for many years before gaining its independence.

The National Day of Cape Verde is on the 12th September. As stated the 12th September is known as Independence Day in Cape Verde. This day is to commemorate the country’s independence from Portugal (National Day of Portugal) on the 12th September 1975.

The National Day of Cameroon is on the 20th May which was the creation of a unitary state in 1972. The the anniversary of the country’s independence from France in 1960. This was the transition of Cameroon to self-rule and the beginning of a new era.

The National Day of Cambodia is on the 9 November when they got Independence from France in 1953. This day os also called Independence Day. As stated it is celebrated on the 9th November annually. This day marks the country’s independence from France in 1953 as stated before.

The National Day of Burundi is on the 1st July which is their Independence from Belgium in 1962. This celebrates the country’s independence from Belgium in 1962. (National Day of Belgium). It is a public holiday in Burundi, and many businesses and schools are closed.
National Day of Burkina Faso
The National Day of Burkina Faso is on the 4th August. they changed their name fromĀ Upper Volta in 1984. Their Independence Day, from France was in 1960, on the 5th August. Burkina Faso, formerly known as Upper Volta, gained its independence from France.
National Day of Bulgaria
The National Day of Bulgaria is on the 3 March. This is also known as Liberation Day, when they got autonomy within Ottoman Empire in 1878 (National Day of Turkey). This day celebrates Bulgaria’s liberation from Ottoman rule on March 3, 1878, following the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878. (National Day of Russia)

Firstly the National Day of Brunei is celebrated on the 23 February. This annual event is to commemorate the countries independence from the United Kingdom. Finally Brunei, a small Southeast Asian country located on the island of Borneo
National Day of Brazil
The National Day of Brazil which is also called the Independence Day of Brazil. This is celebrated yearly on the 7th September. This is much like others to celebrate the declaration of independence of Brazil from Portugal in 1822. The leaders of this was Dom Pedro who was the son of the Portuguese King who had been ruling Brazil as a colony.
